NAKED EYE Exhibition Publicity

NAKED EYE Exhibition Publicity items

I intended to reflect the tension and richness of surrealist photography. I limited the pallet of colours to black and white as a leading visual motif together with tints of grey and hints of other colours. I set the photograph of the naked woman of Man Ray to represent the movement in publicity. I concentrated on developing identity of the exhibition and combined with SIP existing logo. I based my design mainly on the positive via negative feature plying with inverting the images to reveal the textures, the gelatine silver screen print techniques, and the aspect of deformed structures of surrealist photography. I wanted to present the Exhibition publicity items for various dimensions promoting “Naked Eye” the book “Surrealist Photography in the first half of the 20th century” setting pages in the French folding–for reading, the invitation for the private view- for giving, the set of postcards- for sending, the banner- for informing about the exhibition on the streets and online on mobile devices.
